Using both a theoretical and practical approach, students examine the concepts of strategic planning and competitive strategy and how they can be successfully applied by tourism organizations in an increasingly complex and global tourism environment.

This course examines tourism products as experiences, and the development of new product-experiences as part of the larger tourism industry within a destination. In this project, students from the Tourism & Hospitality Management Program will develop new tourism ventures, or diversify current business offerings for your organization.

Tourism Project

This course provides an introduction to tourism as an industry and a phenomenon. Topics covered during the semester will include the economic, social, environmental and political environment in which tourism operates at a global and local level.. In this project, students from the Tourism & Hospitality Management Program will work with your business to diagnose a problem or opportunity, identify possible solutions, make recommendations.
