Individual Class Presentation on HIV/AIDS
HEPI 610
University at Albany students in the AIDS Epidemiology (EPI 610) course will create individual class presentations, working with a professor with expertise in communications. Learners will apply the basic principles and methods of epidemiology to the investigation and control of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in a given country. Major issues explored include surveillance, clinical manifestation of AIDS, modes of transmission, implications for the health care system, control measures, and the ethical dilemmas associated with managing the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Research Project In Finance

Looking to take your organization to the next level? Bring on MBA students from the University at Albany, SUNY to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work in a team on one main project during the spring 2024 semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. All students have successfully completed rigorous coursework in accounting, finance, marketing, management, economics, and statistics. Teams have experience using Microsoft Office applications. A faculty advisor will assist student teams in organizing their efforts to complete the project.
Capstone Design Project (UAlbany)
CSIC
Throughout the academic year, student teams work on a real project with a project sponsor to propose, prototype/design, build, test, demonstrate, present and fully document a working prototype of a sophisticated computing system or application. The company's input will be used by the student team to ideate and propose an acceptable solution. Projects will be completed during a semester-long capstone class.
