Character Analysis for Documentary Development

This project involves conducting a comprehensive analysis of potential main characters for a proposed documentary by FKB Media Production Inc. The goal is to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each character to determine their ability to effectively carry the storyline and support the documentary's synopsis. Learners will apply their research and analytical skills to compile detailed profiles of each character, focusing on their personal narratives, historical significance, and potential impact on the documentary's themes. The project will require the team to synthesize information from various sources, including interviews, articles, and existing media, to create a well-rounded understanding of each character's role. This analysis will help FKB Media Production Inc. make informed decisions about character selection and storyline development.

Application Development - Level Up

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (1 | 2 | 3) computer science students or teams. The primary focus for the students will be: creating a software application for our media database. We have a number of lists on an Excel spreadsheet containing our media contacts with their emails, position, outlet (we would also like to include their social media handles). Right now, we copy and paste the columns and send them out through Gmail. We would like to set up our own database software that houses them in a coordinated way and allows us to send out media release to specific groups in one blast. Application Development - Selecting the best technologies for creating the application or feature (i.e. Media Release distribution function); creating a fully-functioning application to house our media database. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Application Development - For the student(s) to create a fully functioning application. Other duties the student may complete could include : Software vendor research and evaluation - this would be for comparison so that we can determine the best one to duplicate for our purposes Unit and integration testing We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Google Docs, texting (for urgent situations) Student's primary contact : Fennella Bruce, Media Consultant Secondary contact: Adanna Taylor, Media Relations Assistant
