At Rx Outreach, we believe that everyone deserves access to affordable medications. No one should choose between filling a prescription and feeding their family. That’s why Rx Outreach exists. Since 2010, we have saved our patients more than $880 million in prescription medication costs.

We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market: folks paying too much for medication. We’d like to know how we can maximize the use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

  • How do patients currently perceive our brand and marketing based on publicly available information about our company?
  • What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using?
  • What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals?
  • How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?

Deliverables

A report on how people perceive our company's brand and marketing efforts. We would like the report to include what channels we should utilize for promotion, what budget is appropriate for our goals, and how our messaging could be updated to better explain our value proposition. We are looking for an up-and-coming marketing expert to join our Marketing team! As our Marketing Expert (in training), you will be responsible for planning and implementing a new marketing initiative. As our online presence is extremely important for the success of our business, your position will play a huge role in helping patients across the US breathe a little easier and live a little healthier.

  • Plan, develop and implement a marketing initiative.
  • Research similar organizations and their marketing strategy, keep up, and expand on current market changes.
  • Study keyword research, and create messaging based on the data.
  • Identify possibilities for new markets to introduce Rx Outreach.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. We will give you access to what we have learned and provide a comprehensive overview of our wonderful organization.

You will be so happy that you choose Rx Outreach when you have a chance to meet our purpose-filled, uplifting, and, as stated above, fun organization. You will get direct feedback and undying thanks from our Marketing department. Primarily you will help someone like our newest patient, who just found out she can save over $1000.00 per month (yep!) on her needed medication.
